The original GM manual consoles had a clearanced cutaway next to driver as the shifter hump is off centre. The design itself was very odd when a console could easily be designed to fit around it. Regardless, it's a difference. Rivets, metal brackets and cover padding are others.
The reviews all say trimming may be required for either console to fit. A sign they need work from new.
Here's a new Camaro manual console by OER..just because that's what came up first. A few things, like many OER, they use pics of original GM to mislead sales. None of the OER consoles have these Rivets, the manual cutaway or the soft vinyl cover, now.
