Legendary Door Panels

I am probably going to pull the trigger on these but I am confused by the price difference for the only that doesn't include the "metal" parts.  Are they just talking about the weather strip and the part around the door lock?

I made this mistake.  They are talking about the plastic curved part at the top of the panels. They make them from metal in their complete panel and just lose fabric you have to glue to your plastic part for the unfinished panels. The problem is, I bet your plastic part (under the glued fabric) is all broken.

They wouldn't sell me the metal part after I found this out so I had to repair my plastic parts with heat and fiberglass and resin.

The extra money is probably worth the headache and potential damage you may inflict on the new panel.

It's been several years since I looked at getting new door panels for the '81 T/A.  I bought PUI panels and when they arrived they were damaged so I sent them back.  I did notice that
the map pocket was not pleated.  That area was simply not stitched, and they called it a "pocket".  Called Legendary they did the same thing. So I did what Form TA did and repaired
the plastic.  The mylar bead was a bit more difficult to repair.  Looks okay from a distance.

Well I just pulled the trigger on a new set of the deluxe door panels for my car.  It's really the last big piece that needs replaced in the interior.

Do these come with the window felts?

I would think so but mine did not as they were without the metal panels and unfinished

Legendary are worth the money in my opinion. They should have the interior sweeps in place. Also like mentioned above, get the completed one with the top moulding in place.
