I just saw this video yesterday. Very impressive. He has tuned his personal Turbo TA to where it is running mid twelves. I believe he uses stock blocks crank, maybe rods too. I find it amazing the engines stay together. I guess it discredits the myth that these engines are weak. Also amazing he has made a thriving business out of building and tuning turbo TA’s. He is only about 20 minutes from where I live, I hope to meet and talk to him at some point.

Ya, me too, those crankshaft only have 2 counter weights instead of 5. The cranks are what usually explode when HP is made.

Joe is a cool guy.  He has been doing wonderful work on the platform.  I’ve had the pleasure of going to to his house a few times when he had his shop there.  He lives not too far from me.
