My 1980 TA came with Uniroyal white lettered Steel Belted Radial 225/70R15. The wheels were Rally II. These were the original tires from when the car was built.

The space saver spare, that I believe is original was manufactured by B.F. Goodrich G78-15.

Thank you very much for your reply and pictures. My 1981 never had the original spare, when I bought it back in 1996. I know they came with 155/90D16 "donut" or the inflatable BFG you pictured. I did acquire the BFG spare you pictured a few years ago. Since I don't have the original build sheet [the one I found in my car was switched to one that belonged to a Turbo Formula with the production sequence number being the one right AFTER my car!] so I can't tell what came with car from GM.

Also, if you have rear disc brakes, then you also need the 15" version to clear, whereas others still got the 14" spare even with 15" regular rims on car.
