So I've heard, Dave. It would be nice tho, to get my home project done, because I'm tired of living in squander. Kind of embarrassing the condition of many parts of my home. Thing is, (like a few of you) I have a problem paying out my hard earned $ for labor costs, when I can do it myself. I know all about prioritizing, and time factors into that, but so does money. I'll be retiring here in a couple yrs or so, and want to make sure I have enuff $ to eat, when I'm older. I've become fond of that habit, and think it'll be a neccessary component to living longer, rather than having a better homes and garden display. But I still need to continue the attempt.
The dissappointing aspect of this 84 301T project, is there are only a few of us left, that can appreciate, or understand this car for what it'll be. The youth of America weren't around to experience what some of us were fortunate enuff to live thru, when the late 50s, to late 70s, (or even some early 80s) car hobby meant to a lot of us. It was a way of life. Some of us were consumed by it, and Detroit made sure to satisfy our crazy desires, in order to sell cars. There are a few younger enthusiasts today that are interested in these cars, but not like there was 40-50 yrs or more. Go to any swap meet, car show, or drags, and you'll mostly see us grey haired, (or even less hair) guys still participating, or at least spectating. Sounds depressing, I know, so I can appreciate the members on this site, and TAC for still keeping this spirit alive. Now I need-ta get back to my kitchen floor. OFN.
