1970 Trans Am doors - What are they worth?
« on: February 24, 2022, 10:07:52 AM »
I have a pair of 1970 Trans Am doors in my garage.  They are in good shape, good glass, but have some rust in the bottoms.  I'll post some pictures in a few minutes.  Was wondering what they might be worth.  Door panels are still on but the bottoms are trashed. Manual crank windows. Thanks  oh, Is there a way to verify these are true 1970 doors.....I know they are, but was wondering if they have a stamping.
I worked hard to get to the bottom!

I could be wrong but I did not think 1970 doors were unique (one year) to 1970. Price depends on the condition and if they need to be reskinned.

I would imagine somewhere there is a stamp that would correspond to them being for a 70. Someone doing a crazy restore may want them because of that, but otherwise I dont see a value any greater than that of a door that needs some work. Like Jack said they should fit any second gen car.

A good list, but they miss the doors and the 1970 specific drain holes and #4489247 seals used to ID a door. Someone on that forum could add it.
