LS Swap Battery/Air Intake Location
« on: December 29, 2022, 01:58:40 PM »
Wrapping up the LS1/T56 swap in my 72, and am pondering an issue.  Originally i planned on moving the battery to the right side, but the installation of the Vintage Air Sure-fit HVAC system changed that.  i have the battery and the air intake on the left side with the filter mounted over the battery and about an inch of clearance between them.  I am pretty sure i won't have any issue/s with this setup but i thought i'd throw it out there just for debate/conversation.  Before anyone suggests, no i have zero plans of relocating the battery to the trunk.

This is the setup I went with on my LS3 swap.  I left the battery in the original location.
