78TA.com forum

Anyone visited lately?

For the last week or so I have received this when trying to access via my phone...but if click to ignore, it goes through to forum as it should. It was only an issue with phone.

And now, desktop or mobile get this, even if type in basic link. That's nice. Was wondering if anyone else gets the same message?

Same exact messages that you show.  And I’m a moderator there too.  I think the site has been compromised.

Just checked…looks like it’s down.

I haven’t visited there in a long time.  Kind of funny.  When I first started visiting the forums about 15 years ago, 78ta.com was my go-to and TAC was secondary.  Now I pretty much do TAC and Pro-Touring.

My computer did some kind of a reset. I frequent a couple of forums and they all displayed that privacy message. I relogged back into them an they are back to normal. TAC did NOT show that message. As far as 78.com I havent been there for a few years now. Im pretty sure thats the same place I bought my PG decals for my black car. Last time I checked, again a few years now it said sight was down for maintenance. Same thing was up for what seemed like months.

I got into the forum by typing the direct forum link.
The main page doesn't work for me.

That first message is a common issue when the site owner generate a security certificate (ie...SSL) , which is something associated with sites that take payments, etc...  That could mean that the cert has expired or doesn't contain a wildcard entry for the domain name.  A site with a cert should be accessible with https:// or http:// , but you have to have ports 81 and 443 bound to the cert.  If you only have 443 then you'll get that error.

Looks like they're down again.  Got the "This Account Has Been Suspended" message.
