I bought my 73 TA new in 73 and have moved it all around the country. It was my honeymoon car, we took it to Daytona Beach.
I also am a gun collector using the same handle. When my buddies ask me what the TA stands for, they always get a kick
out of that. When I bought it, I was really wanting the SD option, got talked out of it by the salesman and my father. I've been
collecting SD stuff all these years to finally clone the car with an SD engine, it's in the shop now.
In the last decade or so, so many really good Pontiac engine parts have become available, it didn't make since to do a correct resto. on it since
it's a non numbers car, it has given me the opportunity to use modern parts and save the real stuff for the pureist.
I am still going to use the correct 73 cast SD iron block and heads to keep the SD theme intact. I'm hoping it will become a legacy car passed down to my youngest
son, who also has my 3 grandsons. They call it a race car

I also own a numbers 74 SD car as well that I plan on getting back on the road soon as well.
