Title: Exterior body screws
Post by: Jim1058 on January 22, 2022, 07:58:34 AM: I have a probably dumb question. Have a 75 TA bought several years ago. Was repainted prior. Are the screws that attach the wheel flairs supposed to be body color or black or stainless? Seems like mine used to be black and I wanted to repaint them but also wanted them correct. Also does the same apply to the wheel well fender bolts?

Post by: 81Blackbird on January 22, 2022, 08:37:14 AM: I will not be too much help since I have a black '81. The rear flares are attach on the bottom with two chrome screws, and the rest are black.

Post by: Wallington on January 22, 2022, 08:45:53 AM: Blackened oxide, unpainted. Unless special screws for flares I'm not aware of as I don't have flares, but installed after paint so bare.
