Does anyone reproduce the hard plastic seat belt sleeve that holds the belt next to the console? I see complete sets for sale but dont need anything else. Thanks all.

Pretty sure Ames sells just the sleeves. You may have to redye for the colour you need.

Depends which version you need, in later years there were two types for deluxe or standard and don't interchange. The standard type was crudely produced a few years ago, didn't last long in production. Here's a pair on ebay in Australia.

Or there's plenty of the molded sleeves as used in the reproduction belt sets but suit nothing as far as originality goes. Might be able to get a set and trim to shape or length, in colour you need and luckily not really seen.

Also, the the original F-body sleeves were 10" long, those from A-body, G-body etc, were 12". You may be able to find a good intact set from them, swap your stalk into it and the anchor bolt will now line up with the access hole. Trim base off if needed, or ignore as unseen.
My car originally came with a 12" deluxe camel tan stalk, obviously too tall, but gave a backup plan until I found a good Firebird set, then retrimmed in leather anyway, but not cracked or broken.

There were also two styles (manufacturers) of belts. One used metal buckle housings and the other used plastic. I don't know if the sleeves were different between them.

I swapped my belts to 4th Gen.
The release is on the top, works a lot better.

Yes, that's what's shown in the two sleeve pics. Deluxe on left, being chrome or colour-matched backing, of the boxy plastic style on the right, as per ebay ad. These are often matched to the Irwin belt selts and is moulded into the sleeve near the bottom opening.
JJ, do you mean compared to the stock '76 belt with retractor at base next to seat? Don't they still have something like these stalk at console, albeit updated style?

I trimmed a 12" set , they don`t look real good. Thanks Wallington covering in leather is a great idea, I think that`s going to be my path!!.

Not terribly stock looking, but neither is my interior. It can also hide where a set of sleeves are damaged or have been patched up over a crack. Mine were perfect, but also figured they may not be in several years of use.
A few others have retrimmed their over the years, probably on the old forum, in black leather or vinyl. I have a few pics saved if you wanted to see them also.

Yes, they have the same form, ceiling retractor, side of seat and latch next to console.
