Anybody tried any of the aftermarket tuning plug ins and did they work as stated?

The biggest thing right now is Holley.  I have their Terminator kit but I have not operated it yet.  Many have good experience with Holley though.

My choices on LS is GM, Holley EFI or Carburetor (Daytona Sensors).
