Title: Wiring Diagram 1980 Trans Am

Here is a very much improved and very legible color 1980 wiring diagram.  This file is rather enormous, act accordingly.

This is useful for a lot of issues of any year, but the arrangement of circuits on the instrument panel does not apply to any other years.  The fusebox was heavily revised in 1980.  Otherwise, mostly the same allowing for differences in numbers of light bulbs and boring stuff.  Air Conditioning not included (see other sticky)

Any chance you have the 1974 diagram?  The one in the service manual looks more like a "guideline" than an actual wiring diagram.

Thanks Joe.  I just posted a lengthy post detailing the issues I am having with my engine harness.  Hopefully someone would be able to shed some light on it.

I am having trouble opening the file, but could be me. I have to zoom in 1,000% in the PDF viewer and its still not legible. Anyone else having trouble or tricks on opening the file? Or, can anyone share a screenshot of the 403 engine diagram please (VIN K)?

There isn't a 403 in 1980, or that diagram.

Here's one, it can be removed later to keep this thread on topic.
