Anyone watching the Little League World Series?  I find it much more entertaining than big league play. Playoffs are happening now, and the big games start next week I think. I played LL and it was all the rage way back. My kids had no interest and my grandson only cares about computers. I will get him out and toss the ball around a little but no luck.  When I was a kid, my next door neighbors dad played softball, and they lived around baseball. Even had a large lot beside their house with a ball field complete with bases. We would even take a ball and glove to school and play run downs waiting at the bus stop, AH the good ole days!

I couldn't remember that there was a LLWS, but I was never into watching LL or non professional sports in general. But I guess it could be fun.

The games are fun to watch. They move along quickly (one reason I dont watch MLB) and there is a fair amount of scoring. The kids play their heart out.

I was a watching Tenn. play Ga. and went GA. lost they acted like a bunch of spoiled cry babies throwing their gloves and crying. Not a good look for georgia. But not surprised with the entitled generation.

Every generation has complained about “today’s kids”.  If you don’t remember your parents or grandparents generation saying some problem with your generation, you may have forgot.

Sorry to change the subject but check this out before this thread goes into complaints about “today’s culture”…
