Hurst 4 Speed Shifter Mounting Plate
« on: June 25, 2022, 07:48:57 PM »
Hey guys. I have a 1977 Trans Am with a Borg Warner super T10 tranny. I have to Hurst 4 speed shifter installed. I can go through the gears… 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th with no problem. The issue I am having is trying to get it to find reverse. I took the shifter and mounting plate out of the car and it looks like the pin on the shifter is hitting the flat mounting plate. I googled the mounting plates and I noticed a few different plates with shifter offset mounting. I believe I need one of these plates to work. Does anyone know what I need to get the reverse to engage?
