Ride height-New coil springs, original rear leafs

Front Moog coil springs sitting 2 inches too high. If I cut the springs to lower it 2 inches, will the rear sit higher , lower or level out?

Cutting front springs will not change the height of the rear.

you need to do some math and figure that out.  The rear will stay the same.

The rear bumper will be higher than now, diff becomes the axis.

That is what the shop who I am considering doing the job says as well. Question is by how much the rear will sit higher than now?

Easy. Jack the car up, put front and rear tyres on 2" high blocks.  Measure  bumper, both ends, to floor. Use another matching 2" block to measure to if you like to give same as sitting on ground would. Jack up front, remove 2" blocks, drop car back down and measure again. The difference each end is how much it will drop or raise as a result of 2" at front springs. Of course, you also have to measure compressed spring height to even have idea how much removed spring gives that much drop and how much travel will it still have as usually a softer rate than if made as a lower spring.

Mathematically, if the distance from the center of the rear axle to the end of the rear bumper is less than half the distance between the centerline of the front and rear center caps then the bumper height difference should be less than an inch.

Going off Ben’s suggestion, let 2” worth of air out of the front tires and measure your bumper before and after. It sounds dumb but I bet it would work.

Or pump the rears 2" higher, or reverse onto a 2" block. It's not hard.

The tire would burst if I pumped it 2 inches higher.

I’ll be shocked if it even goes up. It might appear higher due to the angle but it should t actually be higher.
