Title: Valve Cover Gaskets ?

Post by: rkellerjr on December 22, 2021, 07:23:16 AM: I've used cork since I bought my car and they work great. I use a small dab of "make a gasket" stuff to keep them in place while installing and never had a problem.

Post by: Warren Seale on December 22, 2021, 07:29:21 AM: I always used cork with no issues. However, it is important to be sure the valve cover mounting flange is flat. They tend to get bent around the bolt holes due to over tourquing. Then a poor seal results around the bent areas.
