So many choices.  I have oem cork type now, any one of these better? Thanks!

I like the ones that have the steel core.  Less chance of them moving around on you when you torque them down.

I'm running three standard cork ones on my car. No problems here.

I've used cork since I bought my car and they work great. I use a small dab of "make a gasket" stuff to keep them in place while installing and never had a problem.

I always used cork with no issues.  However, it is important to be sure the valve cover mounting flange is flat.  They tend to get bent around the bolt holes due to over tourquing.  Then a poor seal results around the bent areas.
