I'll be watching for you Rich. It seems like Kissimmee gets bigger every year. I know several people who have attended previous years and they say it's great.

Enjoy Rich!  One of these days I’m hoping to get down to the one near us in Monterey.

I was watching the auction today and was surprised to see this 1978 hardtop dressed up as an SE with the wrong year’s decals get bid up to $65K and the consigner didn’t sell it.  I’m always curious about the hardtops given my base 77 hardtop.

Lots of cool 60s Pontiacs on the show today.

hahaha, thanks Mike for the capture. We knew we were on as the guy bought a car. The camera came up where we were and bang, the camera red light came on. It was a blast! We had a great time, I'll get my pics organized and post them later in the week.

The auction was a blast! Being there in person is nothing like watching it on TV. Some exotic and expensive cars, there was serious money in the room. We went down for the week, Saturday to Saturday and while Mecum was our central event, we did skip out and get some site seeing and other activities into our schedule.
My friend and I went golfing and got to see a real alligator on the course. Pretty strange getting a safety briefing before you play golf.
We went to the Daytona speedway, which was incredible, the stands are 7 stories tall and 1.25 miles long! And since we were there, we drove along Daytona Beach.
Here are few pics of the trip.

And, of course, we were on live TV when a bidder won a white mustang which Mike posted.

We also stopped at Buccees, it's like a Walmart gas station, huge, and packed.

I used to hit FLA every winter. Havent been there for quite a few years. Have a trip scheduled for late winter that Im looking forward to.

Glad you had a good time. Mom and Dad had a place there with a pond right in the middle of the development. It had a big gator in it!
