Howdy Again!
« on: November 07, 2022, 12:23:40 PM »
Just wanted to pop in and say hello. I've been a dormant member for lots of years.i picked up my 77 T/A in 2011.found this group and gained alot of knowledge ( thank you.)I even have a T.A.C sticker in my back window that a member was making at the time. I enjoyed the car for a few years with its tiny little 180 h.p engine for a couple years then transmission problems came ,project was mothballed for years.i started collecting parts a little at a time, found a core 455 block had the good folks at K.R.E. do the machine work in 2015 or 16 . Over the last few months I've been  working  to get it all together, and success finally happened this past weekend 😁 so hopefully I'll be a more active member if I can get past using this forum on a phone format.🤣 To all the guys struggling with  car projects, hang on it will pay off. I managed to turn 3 babies into mostly self sufficient teens , helped a wife get 2 degrees. went from an apartment with no usable area to work on things. To a trans am nest. She is back alive and well.😎

Welcome back. Seems like you persevered and got through the important stuff, now its your time to sit back and enjoy that car a bit. I know what you mean about long term projects. That seems to be a theme on my end as well. As for the phone, I cant offer any advice I only use my desktop computer. I dont know how people use their phone for anything but a call :? My son is on a guitar forum all of the time on his. I even bought him a laptop a couple of years ago that he still does not use. I guess because of my age or my eyes or both, but I cant stand looking at stuff on that tiny screen.
