Bucket seat springs....
« on: October 04, 2021, 10:00:42 AM »
Does anyone remember who use to sell the lower springs for the bucket seats?  Ones that go on the underside of the cushion.  I bought some years ago, and i can't remember who it was or if they still make them.  Thanks

I bought some from a member here, probably the same as you are referring to. I will dig my car file out and see if I can find anything. Heck I might even find whom I bought the TAC stickers from, LOL.

I purchased several sets of the lower seat springs several years ago from Michael Russell. He was (or is) a member here. His screen name is mrpontiac80.  Or, email at mrpontiac80@yahoo.com .  He is an upholster by trade.
I have no idea if he is still making them, but the ones he sent me are first rate.

I bought mine from Pete at Fbody warehouse. He has a series of how-to videos on YouTube. The upholstery videos are quite instructive and take you step by step through the process. I hope this helps.

Yeah, he had an excellent product.  I used several sets throughout the years.  I think I remember ordering the last set he said he made, several years ago, when he said he was stopping production.  I don’t know if he ever made any more or not.  I believe that was where Pete got his from iirc.
