Winter to do list
« on: July 18, 2023, 12:27:02 PM »
With the summer already half over I find it time to start my winter todo/wish list.  Anyone else putting one together?  Mine consists of (not in order)

OD for trans"mission" not "gender"
Rewire and upgrade sound system
Weather strip for t tops
New seats/recover rear
Safety inspection (Its been two years since rebuild, want to just giver everything a good look over
Restore factory gauges
Restore both door panels

Debating - Maybe putting SE stripes on it but not 100% sold yet

I don't think about winter until it arrives. I hate blasting through the spring, summer and early fall.

I was looking at a new snowmobile last week. I may have to order one this year.

As for projects. I need to swap out my rear shocks for one.

Clean/ restore my engine turned dash bezel.

Paint and attach my wheel flairs.

And get all of my dash lights working.

Maybe replace my steering box even though it's new it is really sloppy and I cand adjust the lash out of it.
79 Trans am low buck LS swapped
79 Formula 301 (Work in progress)
67 RS Camaro (waiting it's turn)
69 Dodge charger on late model charger chassis
49 Ford F1 on a 2003 Chevy ZR2 Chassis (current project)
Names, Luke. If I hear anyone telling me they're my father....

Absolutely have a list started....

Change tank sending unit
Figure out why my new gauges aren't working right, specifically, oil and speedo.

Thats about it for now, not much left to do.  maybe get AC installed.

Winter! Already.... got my list to. Door panels for the trans am, new front seat for the 65 c10, and got the 43 gpw purring like a kitten so paint is in order. Now if I could slow down the clock I may get some of this done.

Body work.......body work.......body work.......more body work.......then paint.

Engine should be done before winter is over.

Reassembly and hope to be completed by spring 2024.

I can't wait for winter, but then I'm in South Florida. Lol

I actually did sort of a technical "winter prep" project on my 79' in that I had to replace the original heater core due to a small leak. Try doing that in record-breaking heat and sultry humidity.
