I'm guessing Jeff had to get back to work.  There's a lot more nice cars in his years of birding.  Also throw in a  Porsche, a C3, couple of C5 or C6's ( I can't tell those apart), a C7 AND a C8 Corvette

I can't believe what I "think" I'm seein, but on top of that 68, is that(?)...(no, it can't be), what appears to be the highly desirable, extra rare, never talked about anymore, Doug Nash tunnel ram!!?? I know Warrior bought the rights after Nash sold out, in the late 70s I think, but didn't know if they continued building the tunnel ram.  Would like to hear the story behind that eng./intake. It sure don't look like a, (cough, cough) chevy motor.

That was a Doug Nash Tunnel ram. I didn't have the car long - caught on fire and almost took the garage with it. Don't know the history of the build. I do have more to share but the rest are on my hard drive at home. I will post more when I can.

Only 364 built in 79. I have had 5 of them. The yellow one posted now belongs to my buddy. it is the only factory Sundance Yellow 79 W72 known to exist.

What a great collection of cars you have had. Do you have a favorite among the second gen birds, maybe one that ran better, better engine combo, better handling etc.?

Wow! That is pretty cool you had all of those. My caricature flaw is I fall in love with them and can't part with them (so I can't buy another one then).

Im like you Luke, when I first got my 79 TATA I had all intentions of a quick once over, paint and sell. Now how many years into it I have no desire to get rid of it at this point. Although between that and the 77 I will keep the 77 first.

From all of the cars in this thread I really like the black formula and the yellow formula, but yes that Brewster is at the top!

The Fire Ams out handle all the rest hands down. The 79 FA is probably the best all around. Strong roller motor with the TKO 600, Auburn rear, SSBC brakes, PTFB rear springs and subframe connectors. VSE roll bar, sway bars, structure kit, brake cooling ducts, Corbeau seats.

The low mile 79 was the most perfect as one can imagine with 4k original miles. It took Concurs Gold Unrestored at the TA Nats in 2018. All have been enjoyable in their own way.
