Over the past couple of months I have sold my 2000 Formula Firehawk and 1973 Brewster Green 455 4 speed TA. I have now replaced them with a 79 Macho that needs full restoration. I have always wanted a Macho to go with my Fire Am so now that quest is complete. It will be headed to paint in the next few weeks. Pics of current state:

I also just bought this 1979 W72 TA. I am currently waiting for it to be shipped. My very first Trans Am was a Solar Gold 79 so it's kind of a full circle moment for me. It needs a few things but seems to be a nice original car.

Congrats, nice looking W72.

Very cool TA's!! I've always wanted a Macho T/A too. What are your plans for the drivetrain on the Macho?

Congratulations on the new acquisitions. I guess Christmas has come early for you.
I am looking forward to project updates.

Thats pretty neat. A super nice 79 4 speed to boot. Cruise around in that while the Macho is being restored.
Whats the deal with the Macho? How did you get a dealer pic of it? That is incredible in its own, and 2 more beside it plus looks like an S.E.

I do not. George Suppes makes them though.

The guy I bought it from runs the Macho Registry and had the pic. it's 403 auto, headers Macho carb tune and tricks. Power Moonroof from Macho. Resto planned with Recaro seats.

Keep stock. As a bonus, I bypassed the tank, changed fluids and wired it up temporarily and it fired right up and idled smooth after not being started in 10+ years.
