Saw this old article from Car and Driver posted today on the 79 Trans Am. Thought it was pretty cool
and well written.

Post by: Warren Seale on February 04, 2023, 07:39:35 AM: I still have the paper copy of that magazine I bought when I was waiting for my 79 to be delivered. Notice that the interior seats did not have the Hobnail cloth when the photos were taken for the article.

Post by: nap on February 22, 2023, 04:44:11 PM: I have the magazine this article appears in. What surprised me is on the back cover is the new for 1979 was the B&M Quick Silver shifter. Have two cars with this shifter. Still offered today.
