Title: 1980 Trans Am, what color are the under bumpers?
Post by: d_hache on April 29, 2021, 06:52:26 AM: Hey guys, i have my metal bumpers sandblasted and primed ready to be painted.
When I pulled these off there were the same color has the car but the car had been repainted once before.
So now I wonder are these suppose to be black or the color of the car with is 72 Francesco Red for me.

Had them blasted and powder coated low gloss black.

Post by: roadking77 on April 30, 2021, 06:17:09 AM: All the ones I have taken off were pretty rusty, so Im not sure they were even painted. Lots of original parts were left in the raw. I dont think they cared much about stuff rusting, just sales. There would be at least body coloured paint on the bottom from overspray. I media blasted and painted mine black.
