Horn location
« on: April 26, 2023, 07:02:42 PM »
I have a 1974 TA that I’m trying to figure out the mounting location of the horns,
I mounted them the same as my 79 (center radiator support) but the wiring harness doesn’t line up.
I bought this car basically in pieces and don’t have a reference and was unable to find any pics on the web. If anyone has a pic, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m not sure if a 75 or 76 would have the same set up, but I’ll take whatever anyone can post.
  Thanks in advance……

Fairly generic diagram, they used the same setup from basically 74-81. 70-73 used the sideways mounted nose plate support.

That’s how I mounted them, but with my wiring harness, one of the connectors is very close to the drivers side  lamp and front lower parking/ turn lamp. The second connection looks like it will be in the center support.

Wallington, Do you happen to have a pic of the 70-73?  This one year car can drive me nuts sometimes. The whole Interlock system was a PITA..

Thanks Wallington, looks like mine are a vertical set up. That vertical bumper  support is the same as mine since I put on a 73 nose and bumper/bracket assembly on. Never thought about looking on the firebird nation website….Thanks again
