Title: Shaker install on 350 Chevy motor
Post by: DeVilliers on July 29, 2022, 05:52:40 AM
Hi all,

I need some ideas and a possible solution.
As you can see from the pic below, the air filter of the 350 Chevy motor in my car is pretty close to the hood, but there is space. It's not exactly center.

The previous owner had the shaker riveted to the hood. I'm NOT doing that!

Any suggestions on how I can fit the shaker to the air cleaner or even the motor?
I was playing with the idea of making some type of bracket that uses the valve cover bolts and onto the the shaker, but I'm not too sure.

There is probably an easier or better way?

Look for a 305 aircleaner and shaker with base, but they are getting harder to find, were not common to start with and many now on SBC conversions.
