Title: Cruise control decal
Post by: Mac on August 16, 2021, 05:34:15 PM
The lettering on my cruise control has worn off. I know this is a common problem. Does anyone know someone who can reproduce a decal of some type? I’ve posted this topic several years ago and there was a lot of TAC members interested but no one had any solution.
I was thinking of having a clear label made but would it show up and look worse. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Will have to try that at some point, I thought you were referring to the "RB" sticker on the cruise module in the engine bay, was wondering if they were reproduced!

What you need is a stamp with raised letters and arrow and roll it onto the stalk. Use a water-based paint so you can wipe it off and go again until perfect.

Where would I get the stamp?

Where would I get the stamp?

I've ordered custom rubber stamps before from this place - https://www.rubberstampchamp.com/ (https://www.rubberstampchamp.com/)
You can create your own custom artwork and upload for the stamp design. A small stamp like this would be under $10.
