I was wondering if anyone had information on what literature came with the car originally, specifically a 1977 trans am, currently don't have a users manual, carb manual, etc. Not entirely needed but would be nice for show or referencing once in a while. Would be helpful to either get a picture, book number, title, or anything that is specific for the literature and hopefully I can find such things online. Google shows many different books, just want to narrow it down. Thanks.

The guy that runs untied f body likes finding and selling literature. He’d be a good place to check. He got me all of the glovebox lit that would come in my 77. He goes by Burd at UFB.

Yes, Roger seems to pride himself in the original literature. If he doesn't have it, he could probably show you what it was or looked like. Otherwise, for someone with apparently a lot of the answers, he is rarely forthcoming with the details to contribute.

Thanks, I will go check it out.

I've had complete sets of this, and I guess most of us have seen them, but I don't know that I pride myself on being exactly right. I'll try to find a set and go through it.
The operating instructions are all firebirds, I can tell you that.
Here's a picture from TAS that includes the Hurst flyer, but it seems to me that there should be a tire warranty. I have seen sometimes a separate pamphlet for the maintenance schedule, and you can see pictures on the internet showing that was 1977 dated, so that should probably be included too.

I don't know what's in that consumer information thing.

I had a 78 in my filing cabinet, ha ha. Stopping Distances, Tire Reserve Loads, and Passing Ability. Tire reserves are interesting - really close to zero on everything other than Firebird. . To be fair I guess that's what they used to determine GVWR.
