The first but most certainly won't be my last...
What are these and where do they go?
Thanks in advance!

Top one is hood cable retainer clip.

Lower is retainer for D-side dash vent. Here's a broken vent housing I had that shows the retainer.

Thank you! You saved me.
-
Right on Aus! I knew I recognized the hood latch clip but couldn't place it. Nice work (answering some tricky questions).
-
Wally, you are no joke.
-
Did I miss something?
-
Got another... pretty sure it links a couple of dash things to ground?
-
Correct on the cluster ground strap.
-
That is the main gauge cluster to headlight switch ground strap.
-
Thats what i thought but needed reassurance. Thx guys. It wont be my last.
Hoping to crank it up Monday for the first time.

Excellent photo. And good to see where the prism goes. I need to figure out the ash tray fiber optic as well. They sure did some creative things back then.

Do these help at all? Plenty more.

Good pics. the other end plugs into the main cluster. It doesn't do much if you ask me.
-
Thanks!
That should be a sticky somewhere. Im doing dakota digital gauges so I’ll have to think of something.
-
Does anyone use the ashtray to know how good the interior is lit?
-
LOL
Well at some pint mine was defiantly smoked in. needs refinishing.

Not so shiny but does the work

When you are digging for roaches every little bit helps! Haha
-
Been watching too much Cheech and Chong.

I had my ashtray replated, it's one of the pics above with leather trim. I'd imagine the bright reflecty blouncy light interior may work better than same on crusty, but again, probably won't ever know! I'm not sure if bulb or LED gauge light makes a difference, the standard LED tends not to send out light in the direction of the optic fibre end.
