I saw this ant thought it was interesting, maybe others will too.

Guy is kinda wired and speaks a little fast for my liking but the info is good.

Kinda surprised.  TW used to be my go-to wax in the 70's/early 80's.  But then way better waxes were introduced so I stopped using the Turtle.  It seems they have went after the ceramic market, in a good way.  Thanks for the video.

I have been tempted by the ceramic coatings for a couple of years now. I used one of the off the shelf products on my truck last fall. It is ok. I am under the impression that for the  best results a professional treatment is needed. Stuff is only sold to pros. My local guy charges about $1000. to do the job. I was talking to a guy at a show that had them do it and he said it was supposed to last for about 5 years with his show use.

Funny only the front of my TA has wax on it and it's just spray detailer from Maguires. I bought carnauba wax and the Maguires hybrid ceramic but now seeing that it came in second to last.... I'm going out to get the Turtle Wax ceramic stuff...

We had two done a couple years ago.  My 2007 F-150 that I sold a couple months later to my neighbor (it still shines like brand new, as I look every day when I go by it) and my wife's car.  Both have held up great.  Her car cost $350 to do.  My truck was $500 to ceramic, but he also completely detailed the interior.

Mike, I want to get my wifes mustang done, since it gets better mileage than the expedition she has been driving it to work as of late. Other than that its a weekend fun car. I thought about getting the trans am done so I dont have to fool with it anymore. I think the pro stuff is good but again from what I have read its much better than what the average consumer has available. May be all smoke and mirrors for what I know. I have a website (cant remember the name off hand) that sends me emails all of the time regarding detailing/car cleaning stuff and they show some decent (but not cheap) stuff. I have been tempted but from what I gather to do a true ceramic coat it is time consuming and a lot of work. I have been told to figure on a couple of long days for a car. There is a trick to it, unlike rubbing wax on and then off again.

What I found interesting in this video is how he tried a few things to remove them and most of the did but you can clearly see the TW area is still there. I really want to use it to keep bugs and water spots off my car or at least make it easy to remove them.
