« on: April 09, 2023, 08:12:59 AM »
What is the oem carb to air cleaner stud? For '78 Rochester 4bbl to W72 air cleaner?
Wasn't it a threaded-smooth-threaded type stud? Thanks!

Yep correct pattern,  looks like Quadrajet power sells them new or old, can probably find them at a few different sites.

Quad power has them alright. Now I wonder which length I should have, they have em in 4 1/8”, 4 1/4”  & 4 1/2”. Which for my app: Rochester 4bbl & W72 air cleaner?? Thanks!

I can measure mine but I don’t think it matters much since it pokes through the air cleaner under the shaker, plenty of open space. Wing nut tightens down on it, I don’t see any clearance issues unless it’s 13 feet long and pokes the top of the shaker.

You can always ask the guy who runs Quadrajet power (forgot his name) or cliff, they probably know off the top of their head.
