I don't know if you guys do this but I kept up my thread in a couple forums like Yellow Bullet, Sunday Driver Racing and Autobody 101.
Now since we know the fork has been stuck in and the old threads are done I plan to spend some time to copy and paste most of the old thread back together. I'm sure some will not have that option but I know Ryan is over at Pro Touring and perhaps there are some others that leave a trail on other sites.
Just a thought

We could do that but that’s very labor intensive. I just began a new thread.

Now I'm wishing I did post over at PT... Oh well, at least I still have my cars and just the threads were lost...

I agree that it would take time / be labor intensive, but most of it would be cut and paste. Open the other thread, copy >>> paste in your new thread

If there was enough interest I could certainly do that with my Camaro and 76 T/A. Like you said, I have duplicate threads on PT. The thing is with my 76 is that I started the LS swap almost 10 years ago and most of the parts have been updated with better or revised versions. I guess there still may be value though.

I agree, for some it might be a daunting task as many threads spanned several years and many pages. My plan when I get back to working on the TA is to cherry pick posts that showed the most progress per post and maybe fill in the blanks when appropriate.

I could do it for my build threads but it would be very time consuming to copy & paste 10 years worth of posts. Another thing to be considered is that on some forums you won't be able to copy & paste the pics with the text which would increase the time involved. I'm going to wait till Mike gives us an update on the old info.
Some other threads with a LOT of useful info I can't rebuild because it was only posted on this forum (sub frame and "how to" threads come to mind) and when questions came up on other Firebird or Camaro forums I directed folks to threads here. Losing the "library" would be a real loss as far as bring in new members goes.

Wow
I haven't been around for a while and now I come back top find the board Drained of all its info.
There WAS a Lot of good info on this board! No one made a Back up?
I am no computer wizard so I have no idea how forums are ran or maintained wish I did.
