Title: 4 speed console question

Hi all , Ive come across a reasonably priced an 81 4 speed Camaro console , question is can i install this in my 81 TA with some modifications thx in advance

Should fit no problem, I do believe they are styled a bit different though.

So I know 81s had the computer mounted behind the console where the map pocket would be. Weren’t the only engine available with a 4 speed was the Chevy 305 so the question is, was the 305 computer controlled like the Pontiac engine? If so, the only difference would be no map pocket with dead space behind. If not it would be identical to any other 4 speed console.
