Title: Hood springs

Hi all,

How do I get these on? Is there a trick?
I've tried all kinds of ways. but I'm not strong enough to stretch them to fit.

Please help :)

On the car or off? You need to remove the hinge assembly close and stretch to fit.

I believe there is a tool the stretches the spring using a treaded rod.  I was unable to find that but found this instead.

on the car. seems I just need to stretch some more

I used a wooded handle with a hook on the end
