I think he has a podcast or something as well. I know I get emails on a semi regular basis with tune in prompts. I have had a few one on ones with him regarding different Trans Am related things and he has always been helpful and accomodating. From my limited experience he is a great guy.

My apologies for getting off topic from wishing Rocky a Happy Birthday. I feel this information is worth sharing and Rocky has put in a lot of research that he has shared for our benefit.

Jack, Thanks for sharing the Motortrend link, I was not aware he had so many articles either.
Rocky is a true friend to the hobby, especially Firebirds. He has a wealth of knowledge that he never hesitates to share. It always amazes me when someone with a busy job and a family still finds time to be so active with their love of cars.

Here is Rocky’s Blog, he has some very interesting articles.
https://www.pontiacv8.com/blog

I am aware of three books he has published. The definitive Firebird & Trans Am Guide is the bible for anyone who owns or has interest in second generation Firebirds. Saying there is a wealth of information is an understatement. I believe this book is no longer in print. I have seen them sell for $80.00 - $800.00 used. I seem to recall Rocky saying it might be available in electronic format, but I am not sure.

Anyone contemplating a Pontiac engine rebuild to stock specs or higher performance specs should consider these books. Even if you have someone build it for you, they will make you a better educated consumer. With the knowledge gained in these books you will most likely end up with a build better suited to your needs and probably save you money and aggravation. To my knowledge both of these books are still in print.

Love that Firebird book!  I had no idea it was out of print, I had a friend asking me where my firebird knowledge came from and I referred him to it. He got back with me and said he was going to have to take a hard pass as the prices were through the roof!
