Reinstalling my seatbelt stalks(female) 79 by the console are the mounting bolts supposed to have a nylon bushing or washer? My stalks fall even when tightened down. If so, are they sold repros by anyone?

Yes, both actually. They used a crush-style bush that holds the belts up but can still pivot. The Help 38424 tailgate bush set that suit the seat latch are also suitable. There was also a thin nylon washer added under that called a carpet protector. They are often cracked or missing even on original vehicles.

This is the spare bush from the Help 38424 tailgate set plus original carpet washers. The bushes are the shorter one, used for photo. You may need the longer ones, especially if added insulation and layers. I haven't found out how they distort yet.

Most appreciated. Thank you!! Had those on my seats already.

Let us know if they don't suit, I'll see what else works!

Will do. I noticed you have your sleeves wrapped in leather. Was there a post with additional photos? Thanks again.

It's your own thread! Perhaps didn't see reply. There was probably more prior to lost forum posts.
